Miska has a disaster, she whelped 6 puppies, unfortunately 4 of them were born sleeping. she has spent 24 hours at the vets on a drip, keeping fingers crossed everyone is now growing strong.
There are two lovely but small remaining pups.
All going well these two pups will be ready for new homes around the 14th August 2021
THEY ALREADY HAVE DEPOSITS POSTED.
These pups are likely to be between 13 inches and 18 inches high when adults.
ALL OUR PUPS are whelped and reared inside our house.

We have just mated Gabby to Chiplette so all going well the next litter will be ready to go in four months time. (early October)

Tricolour smooth coated border collie
Registered with the ISDS, she goes back six generations to my foundation border collie.
This is her second litter.
Miska is 5.5 years old,
she is still in training to become a sheepdog, this is because her main job currently is teaching our human students how to train a sheepdog.
She is very easy to have around, polite, well behaved, great with children and quick to learn,
she gets on well with everyone and is great with children.
Border Collies are working dogs, they are NOT pets, and do best when they have an official job to do.
All our pups are born and reared in our home, not in a Kennel, and therefore allowing Meg to have a litter, also gives us an excuse to bring her into the house.
All our potential sheepdogs spend the first 7 to 8 months in our home, before full time training on sheep begins, at which time they are housed in the kennels.
The dogs love being in the house with us, so whilst completing their sheepdog training, having a litter of small pups, (Colloodles are smaller than border collies) will be far less drain on her, than a pure bred litter of pups would be and she gets to spend more time in the house as a bonus.

Chiplette's First litter
Chiplette is around 15 inches tall, he weighs 9.5 kg.
He is a Brown merle and Parti white.
Chiplette is a typical miniature poodle being highly trainable with an outstanding fun nature.
He is very clever and loves to play with humans, puppies and other dogs.
He is not scared of anything and is a clown to boot.
Chip lives with us in our home and keeps us much amused.
He is of course available for our visitors to meet.
Chiplette's mother is a merle who's parents originated from the USA. His father is a KC registered Miniature black phantom poodle.
Chip is DNA tested normal for over 160 different diseases including
- PRA-prcdv
- WD type 1,
and is DNA normal by parentage for
- Malignant Hyperthermia,
- GM2 Gangliosidosis
- Osteochondrodysplasia
- CEA (common in border collies)
This means that his puppies will NEVER suffer from any of these 160 plus diseases.
